If you have symptoms of Coronavirus please call NHS24 on 111 in the first instance.

Prescription Ordering

Medicines are not in short supply, only order the medicines that you need from your GP practice.
Please use this GP Practice website or telephone prescription ordering service to order your medicines.
Please do not come to the Surgery to order your prescription
When ordering tell the practice which pharmacy you want to collect your medicine from, and the prescription will be sent there.

Face Masks Exemption

Regarding face masks on Public Transport, there is no requirement for people to provide evidence, this can be found on the Transport for Scotland website at the following link -  https://www.transport.gov.scot/coronavirus-covid-19/transport-transition-plan/advice-on-how-to-travel-safely/ - and the pertinent passage is below:

“You must wear a face covering when using public transport in order to prevent the transmission of the virus. For children under 5 years of age or those with particular health conditions who cannot put on, wear or remove a face covering because of any physical or mental illness or impairment or disability or without severe distress an exemption applies. There is no requirement to obtain evidence in the form of a letter from a doctor or government that you are exempt. If you have a condition which means you cannot wear a face covering you need only advise if asked that you cannot wear a face covering because you are exempt for one of the reasons listed above.”

Changes to GP Appointment System

Due to pressures on our current appointment system we are trialling a new system to try to better meet the needs of all our patients and provide appointments when you need them.

From Monday 6th January we are changing the way we offer GP appointments to our patients.

GP Appointments will be available to book on the day only.

If you require an appointment with a GP, call from 08:30 onwards on the day you require the appointment.
These appointments are subject to availability.

If you need to be seen on an urgent basis, you will be offered an appointment on the day with an appropriate member of the team.

Please note that only GP Appointments are changing. Extended Hours Appointments (available for patients who cannot attend the Surgery during normal consulting times due to work or travel commitments) and Practice Nurse Appointments will be pre-bookable as normal.
